High West is just a few miles from me! When you go into do a whiskey flight they usually tell you about where they got the whiskeys that they blended to make a particular blend, so you are right on the money! They do have a relatively new one called “Valley Tan” that is a 2-year old whiskey that is their first aged whiskey, and pretty good for such a young whiskey. Their “Silver” (unaged) has been around for a while as one they actually made themselves, but it is *not good*. Keep it up Mike!

Yea, I remember you said you lived there. I haven’t tried Valley Tan yet but I’d love to check it out. I tried one from The English Whiskey Company which was less than 3 years old and it was disappointing. Needed more time but it was one of the first they’d released. I’m sure it’s better now. I’m still thinking I’d like to travel a bit for the sole purpose of visiting some distilleries around the world. Wouldn’t be a bad way to spend some time, I’m sure.
Glad the cat was pulling its weight today 😉
He always takes the easy jobs. Just once, I wish he’d write the code so I could tackle sleeping. I know she’s better at it, but I need the practice. 😉
